A few hours after Seattle police responded to a stabbing in Belltown, there were called to a double stabbing in the 4800 block of Beacon Avenue South. A fight broke out in a bar a few minutes before midnight leading to the stabbing. Police said both fled out the front door, and one came back with a gun. The man was stopped by security. Police said the suspect, whose description was not given, fled out the back door. Both stabbing victims also fled, but one was found about a block away and taken to Harborview Medical Center. The other man drove himself to Harborview, police said. The injuries are not considered life-threatening. The incident happend in the same block where two people were assaulted with beer bottles late Sunday night. Monday's Belltown stabbing happened about 7:30 p.m., stemming from a fight in the in the 2000 block of Third Avenue. A 30-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and a 31-year-old man who police say stabbed him was caught about two blocks away with a knife in his pocket. The man was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault. The two men involved knew each other, but police did not detail how.
